When your lesson names another course

Write about another course by name and nothing links automatically. A tool finds the mention and puts it in the school owner's review queue (/admin/cross-links); once they approve it, a short Related courses list appears under that lesson, pointing at the other course.

Why it works that way

Whether two courses should link is a judgment call. "The Match" is a course title and also an ordinary English phrase, so an automatic link would sometimes send a learner somewhere the lesson never meant. The reviewer sees the sentence your mention sits in and decides from that.

What it means for you

  • Your lesson text is never edited. The link is data attached to the lesson, so it can be added or withdrawn without touching a word you wrote.
  • Want the link now? Just write it yourself as an ordinary markdown link. A mention that already links is not offered as a candidate.
  • A link only shows if this school hosts the other course, published, with an instructor profile. If it does not, nothing renders. Learners never see a dead end.
